    DAY 2: AMBOSELI- B, L, D

Morning game viewing drive in Amboseli Park. Lunch at the lodge and time for a siesta or a swim in the pool before an afternoon game viewing drive. Amboseli is a relatively small yet fascinating park of lush water holes and swamps contrasting against flat open plains and acacia woodlands. Elephant and plains game abound as well as the big cats such as Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. With luck, the snow-capped peak of Mt Kilimanjaro will be visible, creating a spectacular backdrop to the peacefully grazing animals. Full board and overnight at your lodge/camp.

    DAY 3: TSAVO WEST- B, L, D.

Morning drive to Tsavo West Park, stopping to see the Shetani lava flow. Afternoon game drive in the park. From Kilaguni, great expanses of open plains stretch in all directions with Mount Kilimanjaro, the Chyulu hills, the Taita hills and Ngulia Mountains on different horizons. The views from Roaring rocks and Poacher's lookout are truly spectacular. Elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, rhino and most common species of plains game and smaller mammals are present so wildlife viewing is varied but requires some patience. A visit to Mzima Springs where crystal clear water bubbles up from underground may reveal hippo and crocodile, seen from an underwater viewing hide. Bird life is extraordinarily colourful and diverse with the Ngulia Mountains hosting many migratory species at certain times of the year. Overnight at your lodge/camp.

    DAY 4: TSAVO WEST/TSAVO EAST- B, L, D.

Breakfast at the lodge. Depart for Tsavo East National Park. Arrive, check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drives. A vast expanse of unremitting flat savannah plains broken up only by the Yatta plateau lava flow, the Galana river and occasional rocky outcrops. Being of lower altitude than the Western park, Tsavo East is hotter and dryer with bushy grassland, Acacia woodland and riverine forest along the water courses. Most game viewing is concentrated South of the Galana river. Here, large herds of red elephant can be found, so called because of the red Laterite soil common to this area. In addition, rhino, lion, leopard, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk and the rare Hunter's Hartebeest can be seen. Aruba dam provides permanent water and interesting game viewing while the views from Mudanda rock and the Yatta Plateau lava flow are well worth the scramble to the top.vSpend 1 night at the lodge/camp on full board.
