Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park, located between L. Albert and L. George, was named after Queen Elizabeth following her visit.

With over 600 bird’s species, this Park is considered as the best for birdwatching. Tree climbing lions also inhabit this park and are commonly seen up the acacia and fig trees thus offering a great game drive safari. Large numbers of hippos and Nile crocodile populate the Kazinga Channel and can be seen during Kazinga boat riding safari. Kalinzu forest located on the southern part of the park offers chimpanzee tracking tours to the tourists.
