Lake Mburo National Park is located in western Uganda, conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to western Uganda.
Rothschild found in Lake Mburo National Park. The difference between an ordinary Giraffe and the Rothchild Giraffe is that Rothschild Giraffe has 5 'horns' on its head while the other giraffe subspecies have just the two top ossicones. The Park is known for its impala population as well as other wildlife such as buffalos, zebras, hippos, hyenas, leopard, red back and water back. Visitors enjoy boat cruise and get the chance to spot different birds and animals such as crocodiles. They also get to experience either night or day game drives well as sport fishing and nature walks.
