Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park is home to the rare L’Hoests monkeys, the endangered red colobus monkey, blue monkeys, olive baboons, bush babies and grey checked mangabeys.

It is good for chimpanzee trekking safari, viewing buffaloes, leopards, elephants, bush pigs and duikers. The native Batooro people stay around the park as well as the Bakiga immigrants. Tourists may visit their traditional village and experience their culture and lifestyle. Over 300 species of birds find home in Kibale National Park such as dusky crimson wing and crowned eagle that are native to the Albertine Rift area.
