Ngorongoro Conservancy

Ngorongoro Conservation area is a UNESCO world heritage site located in northern Tanzania.

It is home to volcanic Ngorongoro crater, which is a large volcanic caldera, thus the name Ngorongoro conservation area. Ngorongoro conservation area was primarily established as a multi land use area, where wildlife could coexist with the nomadic Maasai residents. The density of wildlife inhabiting this area include zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhino and wildebeests during their annual migration.
