Grumeti Reserve

The reserve was created on the western area of the Serengeti to protect the annual wildebeest migration route.

Because of its location, it makes it a perfect game viewing point with the feeling of exclusivity. Gurumeti is known for its large prides comprising of up to 60 individuals therefor the chances of visitors seeing a lion is outstanding. Visitors also experience walking safaris accompanied with a guide. Vehicle safaris can be operated during the day and night and the opportunity to drive off road is guaranteed. Gurumeti river supports populations of giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras and wildebeests which cross the river between late June and early July
