Lake Elementaita

Lake Elementaita is an alkaline lake located in the Great rift valley between Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha.

The lake shores are gazed by wildlife and visitors are likely to spot zebras, gazelle eland, giraffes, baboons and warthog as well as birds like flamingos. The lake comprises of Kikopey hot springs which is a spectacular attraction. Lake Elementaita also holds archeological significance and is named as a UNESCO heritage site. The surrounding area yielded important archaeological finds including ancient stone tools and artifacts.
