Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park is one of the most renowned wildlife parks in Kenya. The name Amboseli comes from a Maasai word that means salty dust. The Park is dominated by the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro and it’s famous for its breathtaking landscapes.

Visitors can expect to see a wide array of wildlife. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close in their natural habitat. The Park is characterized by five different habitats ranging from wetlands with sulphur springs, savannah,woodlands and dried up bed of Lake Amboseli. Visitors also get the chance to visit the local Maasai community living around the park and experience their culture.
