KubuKubu is set on a hillside with sweeping views over the central plains of the Serengeti National Park, this makes it the ideal setting for viewing year-round, resident game. At certain times of year, it is also possible to view the migration herds as they make their way through the central region of the park. The guest rooms at Kubu Kubo stand on solid timber platforms and the outside showers and private balconies make the most of the sweeping views below.
The main areas of the lodge, also set on the hillside, are generously proportioned, and elegantly furnished. The lounge and the dining area both flow out onto a large deck where guests can enjoy al fresco dining, snacks, and of course sundowner drinks around the obligatory campfire. For those looking to soak up the sun or relax between safari activities, the large pool with surrounding sun loungers is incredible.
